Workshop Information

This 1-hour workshop provides a comprehensive overview of holistic approaches to dealing with chronic fatigue, stress and burnout, including nervous system regulation, somatic inquiry into repressed emotions, spiritual components, exercise and activities, and more.

The teachings and accompanying practices provide a basic working system for healing and recovery.

Highlights:

  • Learn how to regulate your nervous system and feel safe in your body.

  • Understand the link between chronic fatigue and repressed emotions and trauma, and methods to witness and release this repression.

  • Explore the positive and negative aspects of spiritual practice in dealing with chronic fatigue, and how certain spiritual practices can support or block healing.

About the facilitator

Sabrina Martens

Sabrina is a certified yoga instructor with years of experience in Vipassana meditation, somatic inquiry, and other physical, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing practices. Her own healing journey from chronic fatigue and chronic pain has led her to understand that individual practicesare often less effective on their own. However, combining them in a way which connects with and releases repressed trauma and emotion - in a deep, safe, and manageable way - can lead to full healing and recovery.

Additional information:

The first workshop will be an overview of holistic approaches to dealing with fatigue, stress and burnout. Future workshops will delve more deeply into the basic components of the work - nervous system regulation, somatic inquiry, and repressed emotions/trauma, exercise and activities, the positive and negative aspects of spiritual practice in healing and recovery, Human Design, Ayurveda, and life cycles.
