Karen BK Chan
Karen BK Chan has been a practicing sex and emotional literacy educator for 23 years in Canada and the USA. She is trained in Creative Facilitation, Productive Thinking, and Non-Violent Communication. Developing emotional and erotic intelligences has changed her life. Her practices enabled her to face challenging life situations with ease and courage, to remain connected to herself and loved ones. Her teaching style prioritizes experience, play and humour, and supportive risk-taking. By incorporating different modes of learning – mindful practice, discussion, reflection, and embodied games – BK supports her students to stretch and thrive at their own pace. http://www.fluidexchange.org
About the Workshop
The course is divided into 7 parts, mirroring the components of emotional intelligence, and how they intersect with mindfulness practice.

Through experience, theory, practice, reflection, and synthesis, participants are guided through a framework to become aware of, accept, regulate, and thrive with their changing emotional landscapes. Risk-taking and trust-building are intrinsic to the process.
