
Before we can fully love ourselves, we need to make peace with our senses and find our inner peace.
We can learn a lot about ourselves and to appreciate the gifts of those senses available to us in this moment and of our virtually limitless potential to put them to use in the service of our own growing awareness of inner and outer landscapes. We perceive across all our senses simultaneously in any and every moment.
In Peace, Self-Love and Beyond, we will start the retreat with practicing Meditation on Peace by which you can calm the senses and the mind, in a way that is conducive to wholesome results.
We will then further explore our sensory world through mindfulness practices.
Being ready to expand our sense of ourselves, we will connect and share through loving-kindness practices that focus on our sense of community and society.

Marina Neumann
Marina has extensive executive and international experience in the areas of IT and customer experience. She holds a degree in Electronic Engineering with a specialisation in Administration, and a Global Executive MBA, he has managed teams in several Latin American countries and led women's leadership development and corporate volunteering programs. Currently she works as a Strategic Alliances and Employee Experience Director for an IT consultant group.
A meditator for over 20 years, she is certified as a Senior Mindfulness Instructor by MTI – Mindfulness Training International and as a Mindfulness specialist by UNIFESP/Escola Paulista de Medicina. She also has certifications in programs for children (Mindful Schools); Health Promotion (MBHP), Mindfulness for Cancer Patients (MBCT-Ca, Bangor University) and Mindfulness for Reactivity Prevention (MBRP, MBRP-Brasil/NEPSIS). She studied Mindfulness for Wellbeing and Peak Performance at Monash University and Mindful Leadership with Janice Marturano of the Institute for Mindful Leadership. She is a Certified Instructor of the Search Inside Yourself program, and mindfulness and emotional intelligence for companies, created by Google. She is certified by Genos International as an Emotional Intelligence Practitioner and Team & Executive Coach by Marshall Goldsmith Stakeholder Centered Coaching. She studied with Dr. Tal Ben-Shahar and is a Happiness Trainer, certified by HAS, Happiness Studies Academy.
Marina was the resident meditation teacher at New Life Foundation Thailand from November 2019 until March 2020. She also worked at New Life Portugal and lived in Germany, before returning to Brazil in 2023.
Since 2016, she has been working with human and leadership development. The latter is her great passion: she excels at bringing mindfulness, emotional intelligence, and wellbeing programs to organisations.
